Ecodis™ P 30

Ecodis™ P 30 by Coatex is a polyacrylate sodium salt. Possesses low level of addition and low foaming properties. Offers high efficiency for dispersion of mineral pigments as well as extenders, and consequently low grinding time required. Provides very good stability of the manufactured products, in particular excellent viscosity stability. Recommended for use in matt, eggshell and satin paints. The level of dispersant corresponding to the minimum viscosity is chosen. The required amount varies from 0.1% to 0.5% of active ingredients based on the total weight of the pigments and fillers. A more easy way is to start formulation trials using 0.4% to 0.5% of Ecodis™ P 30, as delivered, on the total formulation weight. It is recommended to disperse the pigments in a pH range between 7.0 and 9.5.
