Emulsogen® TS 200

Emulsogen® TS 200 by Clariant is a non-ionic, low VOC tristyrylphenol-polyglycolether. Acts as a dispersing agent designed for organic pigments. It is free of solvents, alkylphenol ethoxylates and nonylphenol (APEO/NPEO). Compatible with water-based acrylic binder, polyurethanes (PU) and epoxy resins. It is soluble in water, ethanol, 1-butanol, butyl glycol, methoxypropyl acetate (MPA) and butyl acetate. Dispersible in dibasic ester & xylene and insoluble in white spirit. Exhibits increased tinting strength and good rub-out. Offers reduced impact on storage stability, scrub resistance, gloss and foaming. Suitable for water-borne and resin-free pigment preparations. Complies with REACH (Europe), AICS (Australia), DSL (Canada), ENCS (Japan), IECSC (China), KECI (Korea), NECI (Taiwan), NZIOC (New Zealand) and TSCA (USA) regulations. Conforms to German Blue Angel (RAL UZ 102:2015) for lacquers & indoor paints, Scandinavian Nordic Swan (version 3.0, 2015) and European Ecoflower (2014/312/EC). Recommended dosage ranges from 1–1.5 % in emulsion paints, 5-30% on organic pigments and 20-40% on carbon black. Shelf life of Emulsogen® TS 200 is 2 years.
