Emulsogen® SF 8

Emulsogen® SF 8 by Clariant is an APEO-free sodium di (2-ethylhexyl) sulfosuccinate in aqueous solution. Acts as a wetting agent. Enhances tinting strength and offers improved stability for organic pigments. This colorless, clear to cloudy liquid is soluble in water. Used in waterborne emulsion paints and coatings with low VOC contents of less than 1% (recommended dosage between 0.3% and 0.6%). The dosage of Emulsogen® SF 8 varies between 0.1 and 0.3 % based on the formulation. It complies with FDA regulations and is listed in AICS, DSL, EINECS, ENCS, IECSC, KECI, NECI, NZloC, PICCS and TSCA.
