Emulsogen® PF 20 S

Emulsogen® PF 20 S by Clariant is an APEO-free, low VOC (less than 15) ammonium salt of polyalkylene gylcol ether sulfate (sulfate ester). Acts as an emulsifier. It is resistant to water hardness salts and to acids and alkalis in the concentrations normally used. This yellowish brown liquid dissolves readily in water to form a clear solution. Can be used in combination with other non-ionic and anionic surfactants. Emulsogen® PF 20 S is used in emulsion polymerization, particularly in the manufacture of acrylate and styrene/acrylate dispersions. This label-free grade is listed in EINECS, IECSC, ENCS and TSCA.
