Emulsogen® LCN 088 by Clariant is an APEO-free, low VOC (less than 1%) alkyl polyethylene glycol ether with 8 mole ethylene oxide. Acts as an non-ionic wetting agent and dispersing agent. It is soluble in water in any ratio to produce a clear solution. Is biodegradable and contains no additional biocides. Emulsogen® LCN 088 is suitable for industrial applications in aqueous solutions (1-5 g/l). Used in paints and coatings for fillers and pigments in concentrations of 0.1-1.0%. It is listed in AICS, DSL, EINECS, ENCS, IECSC, NECI, KECI and TSCA.
