Emulsogen® EPA 073

Emulsogen® EPA 073 by Clariant is an APEO-free, low VOC (less than 1%) sodium salt of alkyl polyethylene glycol ether sulphate with 7 mole ethylene oxide. It is obtained from sulfonation of fatty alcohols and alcohol ethoxylates. Acts as an anionic dispersing agent. Exhibits low viscosity at high pigments loads and high temperature stability & shelf life. This clear, colorless liquid is readily biodegradable and soluble in water. Emulsogen® EPA 073 is suitable for pigment preparations with an ideal dosage of 15–80% and coatings for paper and paperboard complying with 21 C.F.R US FDA regulations. It is listed in AICS, EINECS, DSL, ENCS, IECSC, KECI, NECI, NZloC, PICCS and TSCA.
