Dispersogen® PL 40

Dispersogen® PL 40 by Clariant is a preservative-free, low-VOC, APEO/NPEO-free, solvent-free, anionic dispersing agent. It is a polyacrylate copolymer in aqueous solution. It features high pigment concentration and low viscosity of the preparation. It prevents sedimentation or syneresis. The recommended dosage for waterborne organic pigment is 8-25 wt%, carbon black is 25-50 wt%, resin-free inorganic pigment is 6-10 wt% and resin-based titanium dioxide 3-10 wt%. Recommended for use in concentrates for in-plant tinting. It is compatible with acrylic binder. It is especially recommended for specialty carbon blacks such as Printex® 85 & Printex® 300 and Printex® V/U (Orion Engineered Carbons). The shelf life of Dispersogen® PL 40 is 730 days.
