Dispersogen® 4387

Dispersogen® 4387 by Clariant is an APEO-free, low VOC (less than 1%) anionic oligomeric ester. Acts as a dispersing agent. Provides low viscosity, high pigment concentration and high stability at a wide temperature range. It is a brownish colored turbid liquid. It is soluble in water. It is highly efficient for inorganic pigments (recommended dosage ranging between 5% and 10%), minerals and organic pigments (recommended dosage ranging between 10% and 30%). Dispersogen® 4387 is used in waterborne pigment preparations, point-of-sales colorants, in-plant tinter, paper printing inks, textile printing pastes and coatings. Recommended dosage of this product for 40-50% of azo and benzimidazole pigments is 15-20%, 40% naphthol AS pigments is 10-15%, 20-30% of quinacridone is 20-30%, 35-45% of phthalocyanine is 15-25%, 30-40% of polycylic pigments is 20% and 50-70% of inorganic pigments is 5-10%. It is listed in REACH, DSL, AICS, ENCS, IECSC, NECI, KECI and TSCA. Complies with ecolabels: European Ecoflower (2008/4453/EC; 2008/4452/EC), the German Blue Angel (RAL UZ 102:2010), the Scandinavian Nordic Swan (2.3 2008) and the French NF Environment (NF130:2012).
