Chiguard® 5571 by Chitec Technology is a linear and branched 2-(2H-Benzotriazol-2-yl)-6-dodecyl-4-methyl phenol (hydroxy phenyl benzotriazole). Acts as an ultraviolet (UV) light absorber. Exhibits low volatility and shows very good compatibility with various polymers like PUR, PVC, PMMA, and polyesters. Chiguard® 5571 is a viscous clear yellow liquid. Used in coatings.
