Chiguard® 101 by Chitec Technology is a highly efficient, acidic, liquid hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS). It is decanedioic acid, bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-1-(octyloxy)-4-piperidinyl) ester.

It has low alkalinity which makes it suitable for coatings system containing acid catalysts or pigments.
Chiguard® 101 is acid-resistant and highly lipophilic.
It enhances the overall weathering resistance of waterborne coating systems.
It is suitable for refinish and alkyd applications.
