Chiguard® 100 by Chitec Technology is a light in color, powder, hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS). It is composed of bis(1,2,2,6,6-pentamethyl-4-piperidinyl)-[[3,5-bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-hydroxyphenyl] methyl] butylmalonate. It offers protection against ultraviolet (UV) radiation.

It has a hindered phenol type of anti-oxidant moiety.
It exhibits an extended life and thereby helps in reducing defects like cracking and gloss loss.
It is often applied in polyurethane elastomers for UV stabilization.
Chiguard® 100 is suitable for use in coatings.
