Chartwell D-531.1 by Chartwell International is a C-10 carboxy functional metal organic adhesion promoter synthesized using a stabilized bimetal precursor. Supplied in dipropylene glycol for solubilization of the active component in polymer matrices. Offers improved salt fog resistance. Reduces creep at the scribe and blistering. Provides improved adhesion to many plastics, concrete, rubber, wood and ceramics. Chartwell D-531.1 enhances adhesion of high solids solvent-borne acrylic polyester, alkyd and coatings.
