Chartwell D-518.71HR by Chartwell International is an aromatic amine. It acts as an organic adhesion promoter synthesized using a stabilized bimetal precursor. It is supplied in dipropylene glycol/ propylene glycol to aid in rapid dispersion and solubilization in most 2K epoxy, 2K PU and SB systems. Exhibits applications in coatings industry as it provides improved adhesion of 2K PU, 2K epoxy to all metals with accompanying improved salt fog resistance, reduction of creep at the scribe and reduced blistering. Possesses improved adhesion to plastics, ceramics, concrete and wood. Chartwell D-518.71HR is also useful in inks industry.
