Chartwell B-516.71HRW by Chartwell International is an diamino functional metal organic adhesion promoter synthesized with a stabilized neutralized metal complex. It is an aqueous solution, acts as a zero VOC additive. It improves adhesion to all metals, many plastics, concrete, rubber, wood, ceramics, plastic films (treated PP/ PE & mylar) and to salt fog resistance. Also it reduces creep at the scribe and blistering. It is useful for inks and all water-borne coatings having a pH of 7-11 including coatings formulated with acrylic/ styrenated acrylic latex emulsions, water-borne polymer dispersions of alkyds, epoxies, urethanes & others. Chartwell B-516.71HRW recommended usage level of 0.35 – 1.4 wt% based upon polymer solids, organic pigment weight and anti-corrosive pigment weight.
