Cardolite® NX-5459

Modified phenalkamine. Cardolite NX-5459 acts as 70% solids, low viscosity adducted epoxy curing agent designed for medium and high solids coating applications. It exhibits extremely fast cure, even at very low temperatures and can provide excellent adhesion on difficult substrates, such as an inorganic zinc primer and degreased galvanized steel. Provides excellent film quality of coatings, showing no blush even at low temperatures and high humidity. Possesses good adhesion on wet or otherwise unprepared surfaces, provides outstanding water resistance and corrosion protection. Applications include marine, industrial, and protective coatings.
