Cardolite® NX-2016

Modified phenalkamine. Cardolite NX-2016 acts as 75% solids, low viscosity adducted epoxy curing agent designed for medium and high solids coating applications. It exhibits extremely fast cure, even at very low temperatures and can provide excellent adhesion on difficult substrates, such as an inorganic zinc primer and de-greased galvanized steel. Provides excellent film quality of coatings, showing no blushes even at low temperatures and high humidity. Possesses good adhesion on wet or otherwise unprepared surfaces, provides outstanding water resistance and corrosion protection. Applications include marine, industrial, and protective coatings. It’s good hardness make it ideal for applications requiring fast returns to service or multiple coats over a short period of time.
