Cardolite® LITE 2513HP

Reactive diluent. Cardolite LITE 2513HP acts as a low viscosity, monofunctional epoxy reactive diluent designed for coatings and other epoxy applications. It exhibits long hydrophobic aliphatic side chain of cardanol which gives this product a very low viscosity and provides excellent water resistance, flexibility, and thermal shock resistance. Provides enhanced workability and higher solids without sacrificing other performance properties using this product with high viscosity solvent or solvent free formulations. Possesses higher purity (lower EEW), and lower viscosity than Cardolite NC-513. Is used in heavy duty marine, protective, industrial, and floor coatings. Shows lowering in viscosity and extra flexibility in coating formulations without sacrificing water resistance and anti-corrosion properties.
