DISPERBYK® -190

DISPERBYK® -190 by BYK is a VOC and solvent-free wetting and dispersing agent based on solution of modified styrene maleic acid copolymer. It offers high gloss and improved color strength. DISPERBYK® -190 increases transparency, hiding power and helps in reducing the viscosity.

• It provides improved levelling, high pigment loading, deflocculation and steric stabilization for pigments.
• It is suitable for solvent-borne and water-borne systems.
• It is used for pigment concentrates, architectural coatings, industrial coatings, automotive coatings, wood & furniture coatings, can coatings, protective coatings and in printing inks.
• Recommended dosage level is 10-12% (for titanium dioxides) and 15-20% for organic pigments & carbon blacks.
• It has shelf life of 60 months.
