DISPERBYK® -107

DISPERBYK® -107 by BYK is a wetting and dispersing additive. It is a solution of hydroxyfunctional carboxylic acid ester with pigment affinic groups. It exhibits better color acceptance.

It is especially developed for solvent-borne architectural paints to stabilize titanium dioxide, extenders and other inorganic and organic pigments.
It offers improved pigment wetting, gloss and levelling.
It prevents flooding & floating and reduces viscosity.
DISPERBYK® -107 is suitable for the formulation of pigment concentrates based on long oil alkyds.
Recommended dosage level is 3-5% for inorganic pigments, 0.7-1.5% for titanium dioxide, 5-8% for organic pigments, and 8-10% for carbon black.
It has a shelf life of 60 months.
