CERAFLOUR® 1050

CERAFLOUR® 1050 is a PTFE-free, micronized polyethylene wax by BYK. Acts as a scratch- and abrasion resistance agent. Exhibits fine particle size distribution and increases surface slip of aqueous, solvent-borne, solvent-free and UV coating systems. It is a sustainable alternative and is recommended for clearcoats and haze-sensitive systems. Designed for general industrial-, wood-, furniture-, can-, coil- and architectural coatings. The recommended usage level is 0.2-5% based on the total formulation. CERAFLOUR® 1050 complies with FDA 21 CFR 174.5 and REACH regulation (EC) No 1907/2006.
