BYK® -3566

BYK®-3566 by BYK is silicone and polyether macromer-modified polyacrylate. It acts as a surface additive that can combine good leveling with anti-cratering properties, especially in aqueous systems. It offers improved surface energy. It is suitable for coating/air interface in solvent-borne & 100 % UV systems. It shows a positive effect on the wetting and adhesion of the next coating layer. It helps to improve the collection of spray mist. It is recommended for automotive-, industrial- & architectural coatings. The dosage level of BYK®-3566 is 0.1-2% based on total formulation.
