BYK® -3456

BYK® -3456 by BYK is a fluorine-free, silicone-based substrate wetting and leveling for aqueous systems and solvent-free UV coatings. It reduces the static and dynamic surface tension. It prevents coating defects such as picture framing and fisheyes. It is designed for protective-, industrial-, architectural-, leather-, wood- and furniture coatings. BYK® -3456 is used for aqueous and 100 % UV flexographic inks for substrate wetting. Leveling can be substantially improved, particularly for UV and overprint varnishes. It is also applicable for aqueous as well as UV curable inkjet inks and food contact printing inks. Its recommended dosage level is 0.1-1% based on the total formulation. BYK® -3456 has a shelf life of 36 months.
