BYK® -1751

BYK® -1751 by BYK is a silicone- and aromatic-free defoamer for solvent-borne systems. It is a solution of foam-destroying polymers. It prevents air entrapment during processing. The additive spontaneously destroys foam and does not reduce intercoat adhesion during recoating. It is designed for architectural coatings, printing inks and overprint varnishes. It is suitable for food contact coatings. Its recommended dosage level is 0.1-1% based on the total formulation. BYK® -1751 has a shelf life of 36 months.
