BYK® -1709

BYK® -1709 by BYK is a SVHC label-free, silicone-based defoamer for aqueous systems. It is a solution of a polyether-modified polydimethylsiloxane. It prevents foam during grinding. It provides long-term and shear stability. It is designed for aqueous pigment concentrates and coatings. It is used for water-borne and UV printing inks and overprint varnishes. It can be used for food contact coatings and printing inks. Its recommended dosage level is 0.1-1% based on the total formulation. BYK® -1709 has a shelf life of 36 months.
