BYK® -1707

BYK®-1707 is a compound of foam-destroying polysiloxanes and hydrophobic solids by BYK. It provides improved grinding and handling of finished pigment concentrates. It is recommended for aqueous pigment concentrates and glycol pastes for use in printing inks and water-based coatings. BYK®-1707 offers good storage stability. It is suitable for defoaming the millbase during dispersion and subsequent processing. The dosage level of the grade is 0.2-0.8% based on the total formulation. It is SVHC label-free grade.
