BYK® -092

BYK®-092 by BYK is a VOC-free, silicone-containing, highly effective defoamer for aqueous paints, clear coats and high gloss systems. Due to its balanced incompatibility, it does not affect transparency or gloss. It offers outstanding performance in matted and pigmented systems. It is characterized by its effectiveness in all standard application methods like rolling, brushing, spraying and curtain coating. It is effective in customary as well as in difficult applications such as HVLP and against microfoam. BYK®-092 is designed for the defoaming of printing inks and overprint varnishes based on styrene acrylate, pure acrylate or acrylate/polyurethane combinations. It is especially recommended for architectural-, wood- & furniture coatings as well as recommended for floor coatings. It has a dosage level of 0.05-0.8% in coatings and 0.1-1% in printing inks. It has a shelf life of 36 months.
