BYK® -022

BYK® -022 by BYK is a mixture of hydrophobic solids and foam destroying polysiloxanes in polyglycol. Acts as a silicone based defoamer for aqueous systems. Offers very good long term stability. Possesses very good efficiency against microfoam. Exhibits high shear forces. Used in exterior wall paints, gloss and semi-gloss paints, plastic coatings, wood/ parquet varnishes and furniture coatings, printing inks, and overprint varnishes. Can also be used in amine-neutralized systems. BYK® -022 complies with REACH and food contact regulations. It has a shelf life of 60 months.
