AQUACER® 593

AQUACER® 593 by BYK is a non-ionic aqueous emulsion of a modified polypropylene wax. It offers improved anti-slip properties and reduces the water penetration.

It improves printing ink setoff and is also recommended for color transfer systems.
It increases the surface smoothness (PPS) matting, scratch resistance, and abrasion resistance.
It is is especially recommended for wood- & furniture coatings as well as for printing inks and overprint varnishes.
Recommended dosage level is 3-4% additive (as supplied) based upon total formulation.
It has shelf life of 15 months.
