DISPERBYK® -2050

DISPERBYK® -2050 by Byk (Altana Group) is a solution of an acrylate copolymer with pigment affinic groups. Acts as a wetting and dispersing agent for solvent-borne systems and pigment concentrates. Deflocculates pigments and provides steric stabilization. Provides equal electrical charge to pigments. Offers high gloss and improved color strength. Provides a uniform electrical charge to pigment surfaces. Reduces viscosity, improves levelling and high pigment loading. Increases transparency and hiding power of the pigments. DISPERBYK® -2050 is used in industrial, wood and furniture, automotive refinish coatings and pigment concentrates.
