DISPERBYK® -2020

DISPERBYK® -2020 by BYK acts as a high molecular weight wetting and dispersing agent for solvent-borne systems. It is a solution of a structured acrylic copolymer. Exhibits broad compatibility. Deflocculates pigments and provides steric stabilization. Provides uniform electrical charge to pigment surfaces. Imparts high gloss and improved color strength. Increases transparency, and hiding power. Reduces viscosity, improves leveling and allows high pigment loading. DISPERBYK® -2020 is used in architectural coatings, wood coatings, industrial coatings and pigment concentrates. Its recommended dosage level for inorganic pigments is 5-10 %, for organic pigments is 15-30 % and for carbon black is 30-70 %.
