BYK® -3764

BYK®-3764 by BYK is a solvent-free, surface additive for aqueous, solvent-borne and solvent-free coatings. It is polyether-modified polydimethylsiloxane. It offers increased surface slip, reduced surface tension, improved scratch resistance and good anti-cratering effect. It ensures a good orientation of matting agent in matted systems. It shows high effectiveness at low dosage and only stabilizes foam very slightly. BYK®-3764 can be overcoated easily. It is designed for use in automotive-, general industrial-, leather- & wood and furniture coatings. It is suitable for architectural- and can coatings. It is SVHC label-free grade. The dosage level of the grade is 0.01-0.3 % additive as supplied based on total formulation & in exceptional cases up to 0.5%.
