BYK® -220 S

Solution of a lower molecular weight unsaturated acidic polycarboxylic acid polyester with a polysiloxane copolymer. Acts as wetting and dispersing agent for solvent-borne systems. Stabilizes all pigments. Prevents flooding/floating, formation of Bénard cells and silking. Provides improved gloss and leveling. Reduces the mill base viscosity. Improves surface slip, leveling and orientation of flatting agents or aluminium flakes. Leads to a controlled flocculation of pigments. Used in solvent-borne and solvent-free industrial, architectural, automotive, wood and furniture coatings.
