BRB Silanil® 581

BRB Silanil® 581 by BRB International BV acts as an adhesion promoter for water-based coatings. It is an aqueous aminoalkyl siloxane solution with excellent water solubility. Suitable for inorganic substrates as primer before top coat and is recommended to wipe onto the glass or metal substrate. Improves mechanical properties and shows good product stability. Used in acrylics latexes, polyurethane dispersion and alcohol sensitive resins. BRB Silanil® 581 is recommended at a dosage level of 0.5-4.0 %wt to promote unprimed adhesion.
