BRB Silanil® 250 by BRB International BV acts as an adhesion promoter. It is a reactive 3-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane. Possesses both organic and inorganic reactivity, reacting with organic thermoset resins as well as inorganic minerals such as glass and silica. Used to modify polymer structure especially in surface coating resin for water-borne applications at 0.1-2 % and solvent-borne at 0.4-10 % on total monomer wt. BRB Silanil® 250 is recommended at a dosage level of 0.5-2.0 pph to promote unprimed adhesion.
