Borchi® OXY-Coat 1101 by Borchers (Milliken) is a VOC- & cobalt-free curing agent and metal-based catalyst ideal for water-based alkyd coatings. It can improve drying activity, color performance, gloss and haze compared to cobalt-based driers. It is based on a unique, patented, highly active iron complex. It is suitable for all coatings with binders that dry by oxidation.
  • It provides brighter whites and lower yellow tones.
  • It offers improved adhesion in direct-to-metal applications.
  • It can be used in coatings for adverse weather conditions.
  • Applications include wood-, industrial-, and architectural coatings, as well as printing inks.
  • It is APEO-free and complies with Proposition 65, REACH, environmental labels "Blue Angel" (RAL-UZ 12a) and "EU Ecolabel"(Regulation (EC) No. 66/2010, Commission Decision 2014/312/EU).
  • Borchi® OXY-Coat 1101 is recommended at a dosage level of 0.25-2%.
