Borchi® Gen TS

Borchi® Gen TS by Borchers is montmorillonite or highly dispersed silica based. Acts as a thixotropic & thickening-, wetting- and dispersing agent. Exhibits optimum efficacy, non-skinning and corrosion-inhibiting and stable viscosity. Offers very short but full mechanical & chemical dispersion and maturing time. Forms homogeneous, easily usable, pumpable and scoopable gels. Exhibits excellent binder compatibility and no effect on drying properties of binders which dry physically or by oxidation. Brings about a marked reduction in the intrinsic viscosity of the resin. Excellently suited to manufacture stock pastes from powdery inorganic gelling agents in organic solvents, e.g. white spirit, xylene, butyl glycol. Compatible with styrenated alkyd resins, epoxy resins, alkyd/nitrocellulose, alkyd/urea/melamine composition, polyurethane, unsaturated polyester resins, epoxy resins, vinyl resins (PVC organosols / plastisols), acrylic resins, silicone and chlorinated & cyclized rubber. Borchi® Gen TS is used for high-solids and water based paints, highly concentrated pastes and acid-curing paints.
