Borchi® Gen DFN by Borchers (Milliken) is a non-ionic, VOC- and APEO-free wetting and dispersing agent. It is recommended for organic pigments and carbon black in water- and solvent-based coating systems. It stabilizes the consistency and color strength of finished coatings. It contains OH functionality and can be covalently bonded in cross-linked systems.

It provides improved pigment wetting of organic pigments and carbon black.
Borchi® Gen DFN can be used in all pH ranges.
It is suitable for air-drying & baking emulsion paints and lacquers.
It is also used in resin systems including pure acrylic, styrene-acrylic and styrene-butadiene dispersions and coatings based on NC systems.
The recommended dosage level for titanium dioxide is 1-3%, organic pigment is 10-30% and carbon black is 30-60%.
