Borchers® Dry 0347 aqua

Borchers® Dry 0347 aqua by Borchers is a complex of metallic carboxylates with an organic chelating agent dissolved in white-spirit containing less than 2% aromatics and in mineral oil. Acts as a cobalt-free combination drier based on a highly active synergistic drier with an organic drying accelerator. Exhibits very good drying properties even after extended storage. Improves through drying and hardness of the applied film and prevents levelling defects. Provides improved discoloration stability and yellowing resistance. It replaces other primary driers, especially cobalt siccatives. Used for water borne oxidatively drying coating systems either for clear coats and pigmented coating systems. Borchers® Dry 0347 aqua recommended dosage is 3 - 6% by weight based on solid binder and in pigmented system is 0.1 - 0.3 % by weight metal based on solid binder.
