BLUESIL™ BP 9705

BLUESIL™ BP 9705 by Elkem Silicones is a non-ionic, APEO free, alkylpolysiloxane aqueous emulsion. Acts as a water repellent additive. Improves the processability and the antiblocking characteristics. Moreover its economic advantage due to its very low dosage efficiency, BLUESIL™ BP 9705 improves the dirt pick up resistance of coatings. It is added at very low amount, brings water resistance and water vapor permeability. Used in interior and exterior paints, silicate paints, plasters etc. Addition levels from 0.1 to 3% of BLUESIL™ BP 9705 compared to the total formulation are typically used (addition at the end of the formulation).
