Acrylan L 250 is an anionic acrylic-acid-copolymer by Baumeister. It acts as an aqueous thickener. It is recommended for high-solid coatings and coating formulations with higher pigment load. It offers high adsorption affinity to mineral surfaces, electrostatic and steric stabilization. It provides improved fiber coverage, good paper smoothness and gloss, reduced binder amount, and improved coater runnability. Acrylan L 250 is a very good OBA carrier.
