Versamid 280 B-75

Versamid® 280 B-75 by Huntsman is a polyamide/epoxy adduct in n-butanol designed for reaction with solid or liquid epoxy resins. It provides excellent compatibility with bisphenol A-based epoxy resins allowing normal induction times to be reduced and occasionally be eliminated. It shows low moisture sensitivity during cure, good flow and leveling properties. It exhibits solvent and chemical resistance. Versamid® 280 B-75 is suitable for industrial maintenance coatings, primers and enamel paint formulations. It provides excellent compatibility with solvent-free liquid epoxy resins for formulation of high solids coatings. Recommended dosage level is 87 phr with 190 EEW liquid epoxy resin. The shelf life of the grade is 2 years.
