Solyfast™ 0010

Solyfast™ 0010 by BASF is a tin-free, photo-latent, metal catalyst and curing agent. Exhibits fast curing, reduced energy consumption, increased through-put, long pot-life, reduced paint waste, more flexible process timing and low temperature processing. It is designed for use into 2K PUR systems both clear and pigmented such as coatings used for the protection of plastics, wood and metal substrates. It can be used in pigmented coating because of its absorption. It can be triggered by UV-light and activated at room temperature when desired. Shows compatibility with HDI-based polyisocyanates. Offers cost savings like lower energy, reduced floor and storage space. Applications of Solyfast™ 0010 include coatings for car parts, household, aerospace, wind power, general industry, auto OEM and refinish.
