Rheovis® PU 1190 by BASF is a tin-free, strong low shear, non-associative thickener based on hydrophobic modified ethoxylated urethane (HEUR). It offers strong pseudoplasticity. It is recommended for low-VOC and water-based systems. Rheovis® PU 1190 is used in high PVC paints, matte/interior, silk & semi-gloss, wood paints & stains, gloss paints as well as in plasters, exterior and elastic paints.
