LIGNOSTAB® 1198

LIGNOSTAB® 1198 by BASF protects wood by inhibiting the photooxidation of lignin and acts by simple aqueous pretreatment of the substrate. This grade is easy to blend with other light stabilizers and UV absorbers. It can be used to prevent natural, light-shade wood substrates from yellowing and darkening when exposed to diffused or direct sunlight. It can be used directly within aqueous or hydro-alcoholic tinting solutions or stains for tinted woods. LIGNOSTAB® 1198 is recommended for automotive refinish, furniture flooring, floorcare and industrial coatings.
