Irgafos® XP 60

Mixture of 33% HP-136 and 33% HP-136. Highly effective, low-volatile and hydrolysis resistant synergistic blend of high-performing antioxidants for coating resins. Protects resin polymers during resin synthesis, manufacturing of the paint, processing (thermal curing and overbaking) and the designed life-time of the final coating. Provides excellent protection against discoloration and change of physical properties caused by excessive heat exposure. Suited to stabilize alkyd and polyester resin based coating systems that are used in industrial powder coatings (electrical and gas oven heating), coil coatings and other high bake coatings. Efficient in the presence of NOx gases, has potential to function in critical gas oven curing conditions. Recommended usage level is 0.1-0.5% alone or in combination with synergists. Although the solubility in customary organic solvents is low, incorporation into coating resins at recommended use levels is possible.
