Hydropalat® WE 3485

Hydropalat® WE 3485 (Old Name: Hydropalat® 885) by BASF is a modified sulfocarboxylic acid ester wetting agents. It exhibits very good solubility in water and good compatibility in various polymer systems. It offers very good wetting properties due to which it is especially suitable for wetting difficult substrates such as plastics and metal surfaces, cellophane, aluminium and plastic films, siliconized paper, and glass. It is suitable for acrylics, acrylic copolymers, and polyurethane (PUR, PUD). The recommended dosage level is between 0.5-3%. Hydropalat® WE 3485 has a shelf life of 2 years.
