FoamStar® SI 2260

Modified polydimethyl siloxane. Acts as a defoamer. Possesses high-shear stability and ease of incorporation under low-shear conditions without causing negative side effects in the final paint film. It can be incorporated in the mill base before adding the pigments or post-added during the letdown stage of paint production. Mostly used in water-based coating systems containing low surfactant levels and pigment concentrates. Complies with TSCA and DSL regulations.
