Efka® SL 3288

Efka® SL 3288 (old name: Efka® 3288) by BASF is an organically modified polysiloxane. Acts as an abrasion resistant, anti-blocking agent, slip control agent, leveling agent and scratch resistance agent. Improves slip, leveling, surface smoothness and soft-touch effect. Shows minimal effect on foam stabilization and intercoat adhesion. Efka® SL 3288 is used in solvent-based, high gloss- and water-based industrial coatings. Recommended dosage is 0.02-0.2% for solvent-wood coatings, 0.05-0.3% for solvent based industrial coatings, 0.05-05% for UV curing system and 0.02-0.2% for water based paint.
