Efka® PL 5544

Efka® PL 5544 (old name: Dehysol® 344) by BASF is a dimethyl cyclohexyl phthalate. Acts as a highly viscous migration-resistant plasticizer for cellophane and aluminium coatings and printing inks. Offers low volatility, high solvating power, and very good compatibility. Provides good ageing resistance. Possesses a low migration tendency and a very good dielectric behavior. Exhibits good resistance to water and oil. Used for high quality furniture coatings, paper coatings, printing inks based on cellulose nitrate and vinyl chloride copolymers, leather coatings, printing inks, aluminium and cellophane coatings, ceramic paints and strip coatings.
