Efka® FL 3277

Efka® FL 3277 (Old name: Efka® 3277) by BASF is a fluorocarbon-modified polymer. It acts as a defoamer, leveling agent, anti-cratering agent and de-aeration aid. It prevents cratering, offers improved levelling and helps in substrate wetting. It does not interfere with intercoat adhesion. Efka® FL 3277 is used in stoving enamels based on alkyd, acrylic and polyester resins and polyurethane coatings. The recommended dosage is 0.5–2.0% on total formulation.
